Teufel’s new Flex-Joints for orthoses were designed to create flexible connections between thermoplastic components. They are also ideally suited to be used as dynamic elements on components created using additive manufacturing methods (3D printing), e.g. orthoses.

Teufel’s Flex-Joints are made of especially strong and robust material, and are further reinforced with a molded-in stabilizing nylon thread. This combination makes for especially durable joints without a gradual loss of the restoring force. The joints are available in pediatric and adult sizes, in a straight version and with 75°, 85° and 95° flexion.

In addition, a dorsal stop which can be used to limit plantar flexion, is also available. Flex-Joints by Teufel are made in Germany, and meet even the highest quality requirements.
