Osteoporose betrifft Millionen von Menschen weltweit und ist eine Erkrankung, bei der die Knochen an Dichte verlieren und anfälliger für Brüche werden. Sie wird oft als "stille Krankheit" bezeichnet, da sie keine offensichtlichen Symptome hat, bis ein Bruch auftritt.
Aus Angst vor Stürzen bewegen sich Betroffene oft weniger, doch Bewegung ist gerade bei Osteoporose sehr wichtig!

The design of the dynamic hip orthosis DynaCox evolution combines two essential aspects. While the hip joint is guided securely muscle activity is not restricted, thus avoiding atrophy. The orthosis offers maximum dislocation protection after hip TEP without restricting the patient’s mobility.
